Ārya satyā is typically translated as Noble Truths. However philogist Professor K.R. Norman has recently drawn attention to a problem with this translation. I have explored this on my Jayarava Rave blog under the heading "The Four Noble Truths". Norman's conclusion is that while Noble Truths is a possible translation, "truth of the Noble Ones" is the more likely.
